School Dinners & Other Payments

Online Payments

We are a cash-free school. Many payments can be made online via Arbor.

The systems are quite easy to use. The school office can give you more information on how to set up an account or sit down and do this with you.

Guidance notes for new users of Arbor can be found here.

School Dinners

School Dinners cost £2.90 per day.

All children in Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 are entitled to Free School Meals.

School dinner choices are registered in the classroom daily at the same time as morning registration. Payment for school dinners should be made in advance via Arbor. This is the same system as used for school trip payments.

Please view the current lunch menu here.

Trips including swimming lessons in Year 4

The majority of school trips are subsidised by the school. Parents are asked to make a contribution towards the cost, so that we can continue to offer enriching learning experiences outside of school. For children eligible for Pupil Premium, we request a reduced contribution. Payments for most trips can be done online via School Gateway.

Residential visits

Year 5 and Year 6 children are given the opportunity to participate in two outdoor pursuits residential visits. Year 5 spend two nights away from home and Year 6 four nights away from home to enjoy a variety of adventurous and new activities. These trips are also a chance for the children to develop their independence before secondary school. We give plenty of notice for this trip and provide the ability to spread the cost of payment over time.

Clubs

Some of our extra-curricular clubs are run by external providers and charges often apply. If your child is in receipt of Pupil Premium and wishes to take part in any of the clubs on offer, please contact the school office as we can offer a limited number of spaces free of charge.

PSA events and charity events

Our PSA is instrumental in raising funds for enriching school activities and events. Throughout the year, the PSA hold fundraising events and sales (refreshments, uniform etc.) There may be a small charge for entry to events and their payment processes are also online.

Sometimes school may ask for a small charitable donation, for example for Children in Need. These are always voluntary.
